Grand Hotel Vesuvio

The hotel is relaxing with excellent staff, breakfast is plentiful, amazing location down the coast to the ferry in Calabria to Messina.

The room was fashionable, and silent, with a personal safe, air conditioning, and a minibar I needed. The breakfast was incredible, a wide array of nice food. The service was excellent and the pool was great.

High-class hotel, stunning location in all the restaurants along the water and very supportive staff.

The building is very well appointed and the rooms are tastefully decorated with wine.

Nicely appointed accommodation with genuinely professional staff at reception desk. Large, plentiful breakfasts with pastry and smoked salmon, for example. Perfectly comfortable and very special setting, near to amazing restaurants, the communal areas and the autostrada.

The room was well-equipped with a view, we stayed here for 1 night.

I was there for 2 nights and ate at rooftop restaurant with a commanding view and excellent wait staff. In general the service was very good.

Stayed here for 3 days, loved the hotel, it was fairly clean with good and beautiful location in many Naples restaurants.

Well, it was a really nice stay in hotel excellent service. I ate at a really nice restaurant for lunch-lucky we did. The bed was very big and the bathroom here was spacious.

Everything was perfect, so were perfect views of the Bay of Naples and the Volcano. It was in a central setting in what seemed to be a good part of town in proximity to several good restaurants.

The hotel was absolutely fabulous, truly enjoyed the ocean view from our classic king room. We got a room with a bathtub. The location was marvellous as it was near restaurants and bars. The service was absolutely excellent. The staff was exceptionally kind and incredibly nice and we would use them next time.

Luxurious room, huge with a view of the water. Exceptional service offered. Pleasant, great location in Naples, so close to restaurant, main shops, harbour and bars and restaurants and fort in Naples. Besides, very convenient to an islet fortress.

The venue is spacious and clean with a GOOD value and efficient staff. The breakfast is delicious and super, available with fresh orange juice and sweet and meats.

Greatly enjoyed this memorable stay in hotel excellent service. The rooms were updated and huge with hypoallergenic pillows and down pillows and excellent views. The location was marvellous and pleasant, just a short walk away from Via Chiaia. Moreover, it was just next door to the Castel dell'Ovo, one of the main attractions of Naples, and the promenade along the water.

The location is good and lovely and they have parking onsite.

Every visit to Naples we like to stay here. All in all, it's well appointed place that has amazingly helpful staff at reception desk.

Classy hotel in a great area near to the city centre, next store and Capri and the Amalfi Coast. Gorgeous breakfast with house made pastry, cake and smoked salmon prepared by courteous staff.

A little disappointing room.

The location of the property was magnificent, to city centre which is 4km away.

Marvellous and stunning location, Capodichino airport was 10 km away. The unit we got was spacious with stunning view as well as 2 doors to enter.

Clean venue and really kind and courteous employees. Updated and huge units with coffee and balcony plus stunning view. Splendid dishes, central location in walking distance to a lot of sights. Also - near arranging taxis & advising on local things and the main attractions of Naples. Overall memorable stay in hotel excellent service.

Not great area.

So glad that wheelchair accessible room with very comfortable bed, balcony, a clear window by the shower I booked was available. The breakfast was varied with a good choice of dishes to choose from.

The hotel was top-class and the location was comfortable and very special next to centre / attractions, the Bay of Naples and the more ' funky ' areas. I visited a rooftop restaurant and liked the authentic meals they offer.

The room was air conditioned, with balcony, had free Wi-Fi, efficient staff. The location was good and beautiful, and we could reach Santa Lucia by walking.

Had an excellent stay at the Vesuvio-service, and wouldn't hesitate to stay there again. The restaurant was super for lunch-lucky we did, we ordered wonderful dishes. The property was set in a nice area.

Good service with private parking available on-site. Plenty of options, outstanding food.

The location is central, really close to the city center, Naples, and restaurants right across the street. Btw, Via Partenope is nearby.

The room is somewhat small.

The weather was wonderful, had extra special stay at the Vesuvio-service. Thanks to the highly trained and genuinely professional staff everything was very good. The location of the hotel was perfect and exceptionally nice - not too far away from Teatro di San Carlo. It was set in a pedestrian area. A rooftop restaurant was very nice.

I got delicious and plentiful breakfasts with champagne.

The staff - some of them were very unhelpful.

The room was air conditioned and updated, and the bed was comfy.

The location was marvellous and stunning - ease of access to Via Partenope. It was located in a safe area just off restaurants right across the street as well as the harbor in Naples. We didn't have time and didn't try the pool, though it was lovely.

The rooms are luxurious and generally offer an individual safe, air conditioning and a minibar. Delicious breakfast with an amazing food is available.

The location was marvellous and best possible for walking around an islet fortress. It was a great area, a wonderful base for me. The classic king room was comfortable with exceptionally comfortable beds.

Delicious and sensational breakfast - plenty of meals. Location very close to taxis for fixed fees to tourist spots and Naples. Excellent service, parking on-site...

The team provided an exceptional service. The room was splendid with a comfortable bed and shower facilities, a hair dryer and a bidet in the bathroom.

They served extremely poor breakfast, it can be way much better.

Stunning location right by the centre as well as Napoli, magnificent views. Also, right on the Neapolitan harbour. Great to have a rooftop restaurant with excellent service.

It's a classy hotel with luxurious and updated rooms. The location is marvellous and best possible, at a walking distance from a public shopping gallery.

We were in a stunning location within walking distance of Molo Beverello.

i had the classic queen room, it was elegant and updated. the bed was very comfy with hypoallergenic pillows and down pillows. the breakfast was delicious and sensational, i will be back.
